Federal law Germany

Lawdroid provides over 6000 federal laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Including the Civil Code (BGB), the Criminal Code (StGB), the Road Traffic Act (StVO), ZPO, StPO, EStG, HGB, ...

State law Bavaria

In the area of ​​state law Bavaria, Lawdroid offers access to around 800 state laws and ordinances, including among others POG, PAG, DSG, VwVfG, JG, ...

European primary law

The important European treaties (AEUV, EUV, GRCh and EAGVtr) can also be called up within the app.

European secondary law

Lawdroid is one of the few apps that offers access to over 15,000 directives and regulations of the European Union.

Including Brussels I-IIa, Dublin II, Dublin III, GDPR, FFH-RL, Rome I-IV, Vogelschutz-RL, ...

The desired texts must be downloaded from within the app.

Main functions

Standard and legal links

You can quickly navigate between norms and laws using standard and legal links within the texts (federal law in Germany and state law in Bavaria). Links are available from Android 8.

Tab system

With the help of tabs you can open several laws at the same time and switch quickly between them.

Full text search

With the help of the full text search within downloaded laws, you can find the required laws / standards quickly and conveniently. Of course, this function is available offline.

Favorites

Mark your preferred laws / standards as favorites for quick access to them.

Collections

Organize your laws / standards in your own collections for quick access to them.

Predefined categories

The most important laws are grouped into categories so that they can be found quickly.

Shortcuts on the start screen

Link, among other things Laws / standards directly on the home screen of your device. So you can access them directly. Shortcuts on the home screen are available from Android 8.

Available offline

Laws, once downloaded, are available offline on your device. You can access the texts on the go.

Automatic updates

Keep your laws / standards up to date with the optional automatic update function.

Night mode

With night mode or dark mode, you can adapt the UI to your preferences. As of Android 10, the app also supports automatic switching between light and dark mode.

Customizable

Customize the app to suit your preferences. Available are i.a. Font appearance options.

Backups

Prevent data loss. With the built-in backup function you can, among other things, Your downloaded texts, your favorites and collections either on your device or e.g. back up in the cloud (e.g. Google Drive).

Optimized for smartphones and tablets

Use Lawdroid on your smartphone or tablet. The app offers a customized layout for tablets on some views.
